Business Collateral – These are parallel services in that they are a set of staple tools every business owner should use frequently in every type of business contact, with prospects, customers, referrals, employees, vendors, and especially through “cold” networking.  With the business card a traditional standard “handshake” tool, the business postcard is a new networking tool for cross-business barter marketing at physical business locations.  Within the scope of the Communication Plan, regular communication with the community in some form is necessary for the small business owner, and customized note cards (not necessarily branded with business imaging) are a way to continue to subliminally enforce name recognition while extending a “random act of kindness” (RAOK) to customers and employees.
